This policy explains what information the Prognos app collects, how it is used and shared, and the choices you have. Prognos ("the app", "we", "us") is provided by IbIntel Studio. By using Prognos you agree to this policy.
1. Who we are
Prognos is a personal health-tracking app (Android package com.ibintelstudio.prognos) provided by IbIntel Studio. You can contact us about privacy at ibintelstudio@gmail.com.
2. Information we collect
Account information
When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and a Google account identifier through Firebase Authentication. We use this to create and secure your account.
Health information you enter
Prognos stores the health records you choose to add, including: medications and schedules, dose logs, blood pressure readings, blood glucose readings, journal entries (mood, symptoms, notes), and lab results. This is information you enter yourself so you can track your own health.
Images you scan (optional)
If you use the camera-scanning feature, the photo you capture of a blood-pressure monitor, glucose meter, or lab report is sent to our server and to Google Cloud Vision to extract the readings automatically. The extracted values are saved to your records; we do not retain the images after processing.
Purchase information
If you purchase Prognos Pro or scan credits, the transaction is handled by Google Play Billing and our payments partner RevenueCat. We receive confirmation of your purchase and subscription status, but not your payment card details.
Advertising and device information
Prognos shows ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers (including your advertising ID), coarse usage data, and similar information to serve and measure ads. Purchasing Prognos Pro removes ads.
App settings
We store your preferences (such as wake/sleep hours and reminder settings). A biometric-lock preference, if you enable it, is kept on your device only.
3. How we use your information
- To provide the app: store your health records and sync them across your devices.
- To send the reminders and notifications you enable (delivered on your device).
- To read values from images you choose to scan.
- To process purchases and manage your Prognos Pro status.
- To display and measure ads, unless you have Prognos Pro.
- To keep the app secure and to diagnose and fix problems.
We do not sell your personal or health information, and we do not use your health data to target ads.
4. Where your data is stored
Your data is stored using Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore, Authentication, and Cloud Functions) on Google's cloud infrastructure. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). Your health records are linked to your account and are accessible to you when you are signed in.
5. Services we share data with
We use trusted third-party services to run Prognos. Each processes data under its own privacy policy:
- Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Functions) — sign-in, data storage, and server functions.
- Google Cloud Vision — extracting text from images you scan.
- Google AdMob — advertising (not shown to Prognos Pro users).
- Google Play Billing and RevenueCat — processing in-app purchases and subscriptions.
We share only what each service needs to perform its function. Advertising partners do not receive your health records.
6. Your choices and rights
- Access and edit: view and change your records anytime in the app.
- Delete your data: use Reset App in Settings to permanently delete your medications, readings, logs, and journal entries. To delete your account entirely, email us at ibintelstudio@gmail.com.
- Ads: upgrade to Prognos Pro to remove ads; you can also reset or limit your advertising ID in your device settings.
- Notifications and biometrics: turn these on or off in the app's Settings or your device settings.
Depending on where you live (for example, the EEA/UK or California), you may have additional rights such as access, correction, deletion, portability, or the right to object. Contact us at ibintelstudio@gmail.com to exercise them.
7. Data retention
We keep your data while your account is active. When you reset the app or ask us to delete your account, your health records are removed from our systems. Certain records (such as purchase or transaction records) may be retained by our payment partners or by us as required by law.
8. Children's privacy
Prognos is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Not medical advice
Prognos is a personal tracking tool for informational purposes only. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical decisions.
10. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit and access controls, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
